The Conductor announced the finalists of the Collegiate Venture Competition, a competition created to celebrate successful, post-revenue companies run by college students or recent college graduates.
The competition was limited to operating ventures with actual clients and recurring revenue.
In its inaugural year, the competition received applications from student companies from Arkansas' colleges and universities, as well as national and international universities, including Drexel University, the University of Chicago and the National Research Saratov State University in Russia. "We're very excited about the caliber of the student companies in this competition," said Kim Lane, CEO of the Conductor. "We're passionate about supporting student entrepreneurs and celebrating the successes of 'dorm room founders' around the world."
